Kiernan Milling has been supplying Irish farmers with top quality animal feeds for over 40 years, and is fully approved under the industry standard Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS) to meet all Irish and EU legal requirements to manufacture feed. They are also a Bord Bia approved supplier of feed for Egg and Poultry producers. To maintain this they have a dedicated quality assurance team monitoring every aspect of production, starting at the point of intake, following right through production, and working with the sales team to ensure that customers get the very best feeds for their needs.

Kiernan Milling required a solution integrated into their daily activities, to continually monitor all regulatory compliance requirements for (Environmental Protection Agency – EPA, ISO and Universal Feed Assurance System  – UFAS), and capture all associated evidence. In addition, they wanted all identified non-compliances managed to conclusion paperlessly in a single system, and not dependent on any individual. It was important that information would be always available for reporting and that the system allowed paperless support for external audits. They also required a solution that allowed audits to take place while walking around the mill as well as providing customised workflows to align with the business operating procedures.
